Place Value with MAB blocks
Download the following two Notebook files for use with your SmartBoard on Place Value using MAB Blocks. The first file is targeted at year 3s and requires students to drag the appropriate MAB blocks over to the place value chart to make the specified number. There are 5 questions based on this process. The last page of the file requires students to write the number that corresponds with the amount of MAB blocks.
The second file is targeted at year 4s and has similar activities to the year 3 file, but this file explores up to ‘thousands’.
