Embedit.in is a great tool to embed files or URLs into your blog or website. Uploading files is pretty straight forward. Ebedit.in gives you the chance to annotate your files. It can give you charts and maps analysing your audience. It also has some very good privacy settings, where you can choose if you want your users to be able to print, download or make public the file you are embedding.
I have used this tool many times on my classroom blog. It has been particularly handy to scan in notices, make a pdf of them and then embed them on the blog. The best thing about this whole process is that people viewing the file can enlarge the view to full screen and they don’t need third party software such as Acrobat reader or Microsoft Office.
